Owned and operated by Bill and Ruth Reinhardt, Jazz Ltd. was a Chicago jazz club from 1947 into the early ’70s. These 1949 and ’51 recordings feature some of the greatest names in traditional jazz. Sidney Bechet was just a few months away from leaving for France.
