Delmark Records releases Electric Soul Company — the explosive new collaboration from Breezy Rodio and Will Jacobs. 🎙️And special guest vocals by Sheryl Youngblood on the hot track “So Close To It”!! Born from the Chicago blues scene and forged through years of playing with legendary artists, Rodio and Jacobs have created a sound that is deeply rooted in tradition while looking straight ahead. 🎸 TWO GUITARS. TWO VOICES. ONE ELECTRIC SOUND. The pair first connected through Chicago blues legend Linsey Alexander playing at BLUES on Halsted, and their shared history is at the heart of this album. Breezy Rodio, originally from Rome, has spent nearly two decades making his mark on the Chicago blues scene. Will Jacobs, a Chicago native, began playing professionally as a teenager and has gone on to build an international career. Together, they deliver blues, soul, funk and R&B with serious groove. As Living Blues put it, there is an “Electric Soul party” going on — powered by the interplay between their two guitars. đź‘‚LISTEN ON ALL YOUR FAVORITE STREAMING SERVICES! 🌎 CHICAGO BLUES GOES INTERNATIONAL And they’re taking that party overseas.Electric Soul Company is heading back to Europe, bringing their unique Chicago sound to audiences across the continent.Chicago roots.
