The Blues Lounge Radio Show Presenter Steve Hoare

Steve is a lifelong music fan specialising in Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll and most forms of American music stemming from the 1950’s era. He has studied and written about The Blues for many years now. In the past he has been a contributor to Britain’s best Blues magazines ‘Blues Matters’ and ‘Blueprint’ and he brings his enthusiasm to ‘The Blues Lounge Radio Show’ every Sunday at 4pm on Bradley Stoke Radio.

Since starting the show in Aug 2017 it has become a favourite of Blues fans all over the world. With high profile interviews with the likes of Jimmie Vaughan (3 times), Billy Gibbons, Robert Cray, Marcus King, John Primer, Bernie Marsden, Archie Lee Hooker and more, Steve has developed the show into the ‘Go To’ show for Blues Lovers everywhere.

He has traveled all over the U.S.A visiting some of the greatest musical hot-spots including Chicago, Memphis, Nashville, Dallas, St. Louis, New York, Las Vegas and Mississippi as well as driving along some of the old Route 66.

An avid concert goer for the past 40 years, he has seen many of the Blues and Blues/Rock Greats of modern times including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Albert Collins, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, Chuck Berry, ZZ Top, Johnnie Johnson, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers Band, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa and many more.

With a huge personal collection of Blues Music and books he brings his knowledge and enthusiasm to the airwaves at Bradley Stoke Radio and gives all of his listeners an uplifting, enjoyable and informative experience
