Dave Specter recently released his 14th album on Delmark Records “Live at SPACE”.  A 40-year veteran of the Chicago blues scene, Dave’s unique guitar stylings combine elements of Chicago and Texas blues along with the after-hours jazz feel of Kenny Burrell, combined with a taste of New Orleans funk and R&B. He’s performed worldwide in 19 countries and appears on compilation recordings with artists such as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Carlos Santana and Mike Bloomfield. Downbeat magazine called Dave “one of the few top-tier guitarists”.

Mike Wheeler is one of the finest bluesmen on today’s Chicago music scene. He travels the world as a global ambassador for Chicago blues.  A Delmark Recording artist for many years he’s also played and written songs for a variety of Chicago artists including, Nellie “Tiger “Travis, Peaches Staten, Sam Cockrell, Demetria Taylor, Big Ray & Cadillac Dave. Mike spent many years playing in the bands of Jimmy Johnson and Big James and the Chicago Playboys. He’s shared the stage with legendary artists such as Willie Kent, Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, George Benson and Shemekia Copeland. Mike is also a proud member of the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame.
