Jimmy Johnson’s Johnson’s Whacks (Delmark 644) album was released on Delmark Records in 1979. It immediately received critical acclaim with many writers commenting on Jimmy’s high-pitched, gospel-flavored vocals, stinging guitar and well-crafted original songs. “I Need Some Easy Money” and “Ashes In My Ashtray (Another Man’s Been Sleeping In My Bed)” were subsequently issued on a 7” 45rpm record in 1980. Copies were thought to be sold out long ago, but in cleaning out the Delmark warehouse we stumbled upon approximately 75 copies and we are making them available for sale with the original jukebox card and plain white record sleeve autographed by Jimmy Johnson.
