The music on this new CD though is free and stylistically similar to Scott Fields’ first Delmark CD. Jazziz magazine described Scott Fields’ music as “open-ended, free-form soundscapes filled with noises that are alternately weird, discomfiting and stimulating” – from the review of Mamet (Delmark 527). The two guitarists collaborate on Song Songs Song, both contributing new original compositions.
