Chicago born-and-raised with the influence of Muddy Waters’s music, Mike Wheeler has been a fixture on the Chicago blues scene for almost 30 years. With a background covering genres from gospel to R&B, funk, and jazz, the Mike Wheeler Band will please a diverse range of blues fans. With silky vocals and tight guitar riffs, Wheeler brings his musicianship and storytelling skills to blues classics and originals for an energetic performance. Wheeler has shared the stage with blues greats Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, and Shemekia Copeland and was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. Together since 2001, the band is equally talented, each member with his own accolades and experience on the big stage.Jose Ramirez:
