He moved to Chicago as a child and became involved in gospel and folk music. With his unique blend of Delta blues, R&B, and soul, Burns is known for his melodic guitar style and expressive lyrics. His 1996 debut album won “Best Blues Record of the Year” and he continues to perform worldwide.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
