While living in New York City, Steve met Sunnyland Slim who offered him the opportunity to come to Chicago and learn from the masters of blues. So in the mid-'70s the guitarist moved to Chicago which was the beginning of his 20 year association with Sunnyland. He also played with Big Walter Horton, Koko Taylor, Luther Allison and others. A few years ago Steve relocated to the Bay area and has been working with Boz Scaggs (Steve played on Scaggs' Grammy-nominated Come On Home album), James Cotton, his own bands and others. Produced by Dave Specter.
