It is a very difficult thing, to emulaate a style without copying it note for note. Yet, Mike has done this. He has captured the essence of this style and utilized it with enormous indiviuality. And it's great. In a word, I am very happy with this recording.

It was difficult for me to listen to this recording. Of course, I didn't want to make a subjective comparison, but rather listen to it for its merit and its merit alone. What I heard was the music itself-and what music!
